Every phone nowadays has an LED indicator for events, such as received messages, emails, notifications, etc. An RGB LED has been implemented in Librem 14. The three colors can be individually controlled in the brightness level by a PWM, so that almost any color can be created from several levels of brightness, flashing and brightness.

This color LED is displayed in the user's space and will be used in the same way as in Librem 5!

It is also intended that Linux applications can control the fan, display the battery charge level, and control the keyboard backlight via the built-in controller (EC).
