Linux Mint 19 Country - available in Cinnamon, MATE, and Xfce versions on 32/64-bit

The final ISO images for all three editions of Linux Mint 19 are already available to be downloaded from the official servers.

Although the official launch is a few days away, if you want to install Linux Mint 19 "Country" on your personal computer, you can download Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon, Linux Mint 19 MATE, or Linux Mint 19 Xfce right now. These images should be identical to the final version.

What's new in Linux Mint 19 "Country"

Based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver), Linux Mint 19 "Country" is powered by Linux kernel 4.15 with the latest desktop versions: Cinnamon 3.8, MATE 1.20 and 4.12 Xfce. Like Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, this version will be supported for five years, until April 2023.

Linux Mint 19 comes with a whole new application for system backup called TimeShift, a brand new welcome screen, better HiDPI support, improved multi-monitor support, a new default system theme and the icon set called Mint-Y, support for Microsoft fonts, as well as support for formatting USB keys as exFAT.

Various applications, such as Software Manager, Update Manager, and XApps, have received new features and enhancements to make the Linux Mint experience more enjoyable.
