Migrating CentOS 6, 7 and 8 to Oracle Linux or CentOS Stream 8

The CentOS project heralded the end of a CentOS Linux as you knew it some time ago, ending an era of CentOS as an RHEL reconstruction. CentOS 8 will continue as a Stream version that you should update before the end of 2021.

If you want to migrate to another RHEL or CentOS Stream fork, here's how:

Migrate Centos 8 to CentOS Stream 8:

$ sudo dnf install centos-release-stream
