Tux Paint 0.9.25 adds options for hearing impaired users and exports gif animations

The Tux Paint team announces the availability of version 0.9.25 of Tux Paint, the latest version of their free drawing program for children. Tux Paint combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects and an encouraging cartoon mascot that guides children as they use the program. Tux Paint, available for Windows, macOS and Linux and translated into almost 130 languages.

The latest version promotes the "Fill" tool, previously found under the "Magic" section of Tux Paint, now moved to the main toolbar, where it is easier to find. It also includes some improvements to the performance of starting the application as well as opening the "New" drawing dialog.

A major improvement has also been made to the Shapes tool , which now offers options to choose whether the shapes are drawn from the center or from a corner, making it easier to use in any situation.

The on-screen keyboard , an accessibility feature available as an option when using the Text and Label tools, now appears larger on larger displays.

The Eraser tool adds new, smaller erasure sizes and applies finer, contiguous courses when the pointer is moved quickly.

This new version adds options to export individual drawings and GIF animations , making it easier to share images, cartoons and slide shows with others.

Tux Paint also makes it possible to mute the stereo sound, for hearing-impaired users or in situations where only one speaker is available.

Version 0.9.25 is currently available for Apple macOS, Android, Microsoft Windows, RedHat Linux and as a source code.
