Openverse from WordPress plus Creative Commons

Openverse is an open source media search engine (photos, audio and video), plus a collection of associated code repositories that make up the project. The Openverse team creates the Openverse catalog, the API and the front-end application, as well as integrations between Openverse and WordPress.

As of December 13, 2021, Creative Commons has officially started redirecting from search.creativecommons.org to wordpress.org/openverse.

All CC Search users can now enjoy an enhanced experience, including access to images from new sources such as StockSnap, along with new Meta Search providers such as EDUimages and Images of Empowerment.

The user interface is fully translated into 10 languages, with additional partial translations into 22 more languages.
