Suportul Galaxy S în Linux 4.19 este ca parte a viitoarelor îmbunatatiri pentru platforma ARM SoC in urmatorul ciclu de nucleu urmator.
Galaxy S lansat cu Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread a folosit un Samsung Exynos 3 SoC, single-core Cortex-A8de 1 GHz si grafica PowerVR SGX cu 512 MB de RAM.
