Linux Mint 20 is an LTS version, with support until 2025, comes with updated software and refinements and many new features to make the desktop even more comfortable to use.
This Beta may contain critical bugs, please use it for testing purposes only and to help the Linux Mint team troubleshoot before stable release.
You will be able to upgrade from this Beta to the stable version or from Linux Mint 19.3. The upgrade instructions will be released after the stable release of Linux Mint 20.
Linux Mint 20 introduces a new original tool called Warpinator for network file transfers, better support for NVIDIA Optimus, Cinnamon 4.6 desktop environment, XApps collection enhancements, a new user interface for installing the Gdebi Debian package and other changes.
In addition to Cinnamon version 4.6, Linux Mint 20 beta is also available in Xfce 4.14 and MATE 1.24
