Intel announces the first ASIC for 5G, AI, Cloud and Edge

Intel introduces Intel eASIC N5X, the company's first ASIC for 5G, cloud, artificial intelligence and edge workloads. Intel eASIC N5X was announced in November 2020 for Intel FPGA Technology Day.

The new Intel eASIC N5X is the first in the eASIC family with an Intel® FPGA compatible processor system, with benefits such as lower costs, higher performance and lower power consumption.

Intel FPGA Technology Day is a virtual event (November 18, 2020) that brings together Intel partners and customers to present the latest Intel products and solutions at webinars and demonstrations.
