PhotoGIMP - Convert GIMP to Photoshop

GIMP is the best alternative to Adobe Photoshop on Linux. If you have used Photoshop, you will notice that GIMP has different settings and different tool layouts than Photoshop. To help Photoshop users switch to GIMP, Diolinux has created a package that mimics Adobe Photoshop in GIMP.

PhotoGIMP is not a graphics software. It is a patch for GIMP 2.10+. You must have GIMP installed on your system to use PhotoGIMP.

When you apply the PhotoGIMP patch, the GIMP layout changes to mimic Adobe Photoshop.

- Defaultly install hundreds of new fonts
- Install new Python filters such as "heal selection"
- Add a new splash screen
- Add new default settings to maximize space
- Add keyboard shortcuts similar to Adobe Photoshop

PhotoGIMP is mainly compatible with GIMP installed through Flatpak. If you installed GIMP using Flatpak, you can simply copy these hidden folders to the root directory and they will convert GIMP to Adobe Photoshop.

Gimp installed in the classic version (apt, yum, eopkg). If you installed GIMP, the location for the GIMP configuration file could be ~ /.config/GIMP/2.10.(tested in Ubuntu, Solus)

Copy the contents of the directory (after unpacking the package) var/app/org.gimp.GIMP/config/GIMP/2.10to the directory ~ /.config/GIMP/2.10.and start GIMP to see the PhotoGIMP splash.
