In this version, improvements have been made to the player, including recording of broadcasts (usually what is played), streaming (useful if you want to watch what is playing at the same time on another device) and selection of audio channels. / video / subtitles if the file or stream played allows it.
It also improved the behavior of the movie trackbar, making small changes related to ergonomics.
To set a recording , the player must be initially turned off. Press the record button and select "record". The file will be saved in the / home / user directory on Linux, or "My Documents" on Windows. It will contain the channel name, date and will have the extension "mpg"
Streaming. It can be tested on the same PC with any player, which is given the address http://localhost:50100
. The address on the local network of the PC (ex: http: //192.168.xx: 50100) will need firewall permissions and port-forwarding setting.
It is also now possible to select subtitles or audio / video tracks for transmissions that allow this (usually video on demand, .mkv format). This is possible from the "View" menu.
