From history: Fuduntu

Fuduntu is a lightweight Linux distribution designed to provide "an aesthetically pleasing user experience with up-to-date applications" to make Fuduntu suitable for desktop, laptop or netbook. The platform includes a classic desktop experience using GNOME 2 and software packages such as Netflix and Steam, which are available for installation from the software repository.

For laptop and Netbook users, it is optimized for moving computers and offers tools to help achieve maximum battery life.

Another big advantage is that Fuduntu is a continuous release distribution. After installation you do not have to worry about the latest software available.
