The Edge browser revived by Microsoft, and released in January, could be released for Linux later this year.
Microsoft Edge for Linux was unveiled at Microsoft's Build 2020 conference. Microsoft Azure engineers have been spotted using Microsoft Edge for Linux. Microsoft briefly showed the Edge browser running on Linux for the first time, but unfortunately no information has been provided on when the browser will become available and how it will work on Linux.
The new Edge browser could come with support for Chrome extensions, Firefox-like privacy controls, the Collections feature, and more.
