GitHub CLI 1.0 brings GitHub to your terminal

GitHub CLI brings GitHub to your terminal and allows you to more easily create your own scripts and workflows. Since the beginning of this year, when the beta version of the GitHub CLI was announced, users have created over 250,000 extraction requests, 350,000 mergers and over 20,000 issues. Today GitHub CLI is available for download on Windows, MacOS and Linux.

With GitHub CLI 1.0, you can:

- Run the entire GitHub workflow from the terminal
- Call the GitHub API to write almost any action and set a custom alias for any command
- Use GitHub CLI with repositories hosted on GitHub Enterprise Server 2.20+
