Librem 14 available in December 2020

Librem 14 will be powered by an Intel processor with 6 cores / 12 threads, clocked at 4.70Ghz - i7-10710U - 10th gen . The initial estimate that shipping / availability will start in the fourth quarter of 2020, but unfortunately Intel has supply problems with i7-10th processors, as a result of which the delivery date for Librem 14 has been brought forward until December 2020.

The Librem 14 laptop comes with new functions such as:

- Two SO-DIMM slots with up to 64 GB RAM
- BIOS si EC protected to write
- protected BIOS and EC chips - Microphone switches that extend protection to the headphone jack
- Improved WiFi M.2 slots for hardware hacking
- Additional control over the built-in controller and a new one User-controlled notification LED
