Dell has announced the availability of XPS 13 Developer Edition with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Dell has announced the availability of the XPS 13 Developer Edition with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, which has been updated with the new 11th generation Intel processors. This is the first Linux laptop with the Intel 10nm Tiger Lake processor.

The Intel Core 11 processor includes graphics capable of gaming on light and thin laptops and can scale up to 32 GB of RAM, supports Thunderbolt 4 ports, reaching a transfer speed of 40 GBPS, 18 hours of battery life, fingerprint reader.

XPS 13 Developer Edition is made of brushed aluminum, carbon fiber or woven fiberglass, it is thin and light, but strong. The InfinityEdge 16:10 display, which offers a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5%.

On the software side, as with all LTS versions, Canonical will offer security updates for up to ten years. In addition, non-Developer Edition XPS 13 users can now install Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with the same warranty and support.
