As an open-source project, Arduino has joined the Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSFF) to ensure the open-source ecosystem.
Hosted by the Linux Foundation, OpenSFF brings together the Core Infrastructure Initiative (CII) and Open Source Security Coalition of GitHub and is committed to working on open-source software security. The Foundation will initially include technical initiatives and working groups that will address vulnerability disclosures, security tools, security best practices and the identification of security threats for the open-source project.
Our goal is to make complex technologies easy to use for ordinary people, and immediate security is part of the user experience we strive for. We believe that working with qualified security experts and industries around the world is crucial to identifying security vulnerabilities and vulnerabilities, ”said Arduino co-founder Massimo Banzi.
