SUSE has signed a final agreement to acquire Rancher Labs

Rancher is the most used Kubernetes platform for businesses. SUSE is the largest independent open source software company and a leading Linux enterprise. SUSE has signed a final agreement to acquire Rancher Labs, Enterprise Kubernetes Management, based in Cupertino, California.

Like SUSE, Rancher is 100% open source.

After receiving all approvals, customers and partners of both companies will benefit from the following:

- A much wider portfolio and a global presence.

- Future versions of the CaaS platform? ale SUSE se? will they rely on the innovative capabilities offered by? Rancher.

- SUSE and Rancher developers will work together on innovative solutions and open source projects.
