Hypnotix: a new IPTV application developed by the Linux Mint team

Hypnotix is an IPTV streaming application licensed under the GPLv3, with support for live TV, movies and series . It supports several types of IPTV providers: URL, M3U, API, Xtream

By default, Hypnotix is configured with an IPTV provider called Free-IPTV (2,000 TV channels) that includes only free, legal, publicly available content.

It groups TV channels by country.

Does not include adult content

You can remove Free-IPTV from Hypnotix if you are not using it, or add any other provider you may have access to or local M3U playlists.

The Linux Mint development team intends to add in the future:

• EPG support (live TV program)
• PVR: break, registration, etc.
• Custom categories: to list channels
• Favorites
• Hiding unused content
