From the initial beta to the stable version, two new configuration options have been added to optimize the cupsd setting on the servers and a few other changes.


- Added configuration option --with-idle-exit-timeout
- Added configuration option --with-systemd-timeoutstartsec
- DigestOptions are now applied for MD5 Digest authentication also defined by RFC 2069
- Compilation resolved on Solaris
- German translations fixed and improved

OpenPrinting CUPS is the latest version of CUPS , an open version, based on standard source printing system for Linux® and other similar Unix® operating systems. CUPE supports printing to: Printer AirPrint and IPP Everywhere, local and network printers (USB) applications on the printer and print local and remote (USB) printer driver (old) based on PPD. CUPS offers the System V ("lp") and Berkeley ("lpr") command line interfaces, a configurable web interface, a common C API and print filters, print drivers and backends. The cup-filter project additionally offers filters and drivers. CUPS is licensed under the Apache Version 2.0 license, with one exception to allow connection to the GNU GPL2 software.
