NimbleX is a small but versatile operating system which is able to boot from a small 8 cm CD, from flash memory like USB pens or MP3 players and even from the network. Because it runs entirely from a CD, USB or network it doesn't require installation or even much hardware. NimbleX is based on Slackware with the use of linux-live scripts. NimbleX 2007 was released December 25, 2006. NimbleX 2007v2 was released April 25, 2007. Custom NimbleX allows you to generate a customized Linux distribution. Custom NimbleX 2 RC1 was released August 3, 2007. NimbleX 2007 v2 now comes in a sub100MB Edition. An updated sub100 was released September 28, 2007. NimbleX 2008 was released July 22, 2008. NimbleX 2010 Beta was released April 29, 2010.
